When I started training with Paul 12 months ago, I was despondent because a ruptured achilles tendon had left me feeling that I would never run again. I had not been in a gym for 12 years and was completely unfit. I was intimidated about using a personal trainer and concerned that it would all be too hard and not efficient. Paul has worked wonders for me. I have been training with him for about a year now on a regular basis and had quite specific requirements as I am a competitive rower and also enjoy a variety of other demanding sports. Before meeting Paul, I was reasonably fit for my age, but I would say I am much fitter and stronger now and this has been reflected in my rowing performance. This is because both Paul and I have worked hard. My self-confidence has also improved and I am also leaner, which an added bonus is!
